Dr. Sandra Eivins, a Board Certified Dermatologist, has been providing comprehensive skin care since 1996. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for MOH's Surgery, Colorado Medical Society, Skin Cancer Foundation, Women's Dermatologic Society, and the Iowa Dermatologic Society, Dr. Eivins completed full-term residencies both at the University of Iowa in the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Dermatology. She is also active in civic organizations including Camp Discovery and the Chinese Children Adoption Organization. Dr. Eivins has taught at Universities and spoke at National Meetings. Dr. Eivins looks forward to caring for all of your dermatologic needs.

Jenifer Felinczak RN, BSN has been a Registered Nurse since 1996, practicing nursing in many different capacities. She moved to Steamboat in 2001 and has worked at Yampa Valley Medical Center since then as a Labor & Delivery RN & Nurse Case Manager. Jenifer joined our team at the Dermatology Center in 2005 and has been working at our medical spa, Aesthetica, since we opened in August 2005. Jenifer is proficient in facials & peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplane, & Blue Light therapy (PDT) for precancers and acne. She is also very experienced in Photofacials (IPL), Laser Hair removal and injecting Botox. Jenifer is certified in Thermage (skin tightening procedures) and Fractional laser.

Matt Furber, PA-C has 5 years of dermatology experience in medical and surgical dermatology. He is also experienced in cosmetic procedures such as botox and dermal filler injection as well as laser treatment for different conditions. Matt’s areas of special interest include surgical dermatology for cancers of the skin and medical dermatology. He sees both pediatric and adult patients. Matt graduated from Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant program in 2006 with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Matt is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Lisa Serna-Weltzheimer, Paramedical Esthetician Lisa Serna-Weltzheimer has been a licensed aesthetician for 17 years. Before moving to Steamboat Springs, she practiced aesthetics in San Marino, California for two years and then returned to Colorado to practice as an Aesthetican and Corporate Trainer for Facial Aesthetics Cherry Creek, Colorado. In addition, Lisa continues as a Clinical Trainer for Palomar Medical, specializing in various Lasers and IPL’s.

Lisa is proficient in performing chemical peels, derma-plane of the skin, Dio Lite 532 Laser to reduce red vessels, the N-Lite Laser to encourage collagen stimulation, micro-dermabrasion, facial extractions, laser hair removal, waxing, Blue Light therapy for precancers and acne, fractional laser, photodynamic therapy and extractions.

Lisa is a native from Golden, Colorado and the Yampa Valley has always been her favorite place in Colorado. She, her husband, and three sons, ages 9, 6 and 1 years of age are excited to be here and be a part of our community. Lisa looks forward to helping you meet your skin care goals.
